Mid-Hudson Workshop – Kitting
Did you know that another service The Mid-Hudson Workshop offers is Kitting work? You may be asking yourself, what is Kitting?
Kitting is the process in which individually separate but related items are grouped, packaged, and supplied together as one unit.
At the Mid-Hudson Workshop, one of our clients is WindowFarms. Before we can fulfill their orders, we have to assemble the parts to this vertical garden in order for the consumer to be able to quickly set it up in their window when it arrives and start growing herbs and other plants. Stephen Gould Corporation sends us work for some of their clients as well. We do pour-downs of scenic paint into small containers for sample kits, we create swatch books for dance floor samples and we put together wine labelling cards in plastic sleeves for sale at the retail level. Anything requiring human hands to gather and assemble is work we welcome.
