The Mid-Hudson Workshop is seeing the benefits of Mario Batali’s choice to partner with Mason Jar Cookie Company this holiday season to raise money for the Mario Batali Foundation.
The MB Foundation website says: ”For each jar sold, The Mason Jar Cookie Co will donate 25% ($4.50 per jar) of the proceeds to the Mario Batali Foundation!” And one of the reasons they hired Mason Jar Cookie is because they work with us!
“We have received so many orders that we are now working with more hands just to keep up!” Ralph Malone, Director of Manufacturing
These are exactly the kinds of challenges we embrace at the Mid-Hudson Workshop because when we need “more hands” it means we need to hire more people to continue building on our mission.
Since 1948, the Mid-Hudson Workshop has provided meaningful work for physically and medically disabled people with a focus on hiring disabled veterans. Ron Brown, a proud veteran and an employee of the workshop for the last 4 years, takes special care to create each Mason Jar Cookie Company order we ship. This year we needed to hire extra hands to help get the job done. We look forward to an abundance of orders for the remainder of this year.
Thank you Mario Batali.
Your work with Mason Jar Cookie and coincidentally your partnership at Eataly in NYC & Chicago, (where they purchase organic local grains from Wild Hive Farm that we co-pack), has helped create more jobs at the Mid-Hudson Workshop this holiday season!
