We are happy to welcome Delicious & Sons to the growing list of clients who have hired the Mid-Hudson Workshop to handle their ecommerce order fulfillment needs.
Delicious & Sons contacted us last Fall. They were looking for a company to ship their products to customers throughout the U.S. Initially they wanted us to assemble sample packs of their products and send them as a 3rd party shipper for their Amazon orders. Discussions around price and logistics ensued and they agreed to hire us with their first order going out just before Thanksgiving.
The next several weeks yielded a steady flow of orders and on December 28th business increased significantly when Florence Fabricant of the New York Times Food Section gave them a thumbs up and wrote this article about two of their products, the Orange & Saffron Aioli and the Black Truffle & Mushroom Sauce.
In keeping with the good news, the Orange & Saffron Aioli was then reviewed by Phil Lempert on his Supermarket Guru website (he is also a regular feature on the Today Show) and he said that it is one of the best garlic aioli he’s ever had.
Delicious & Sons owner, Ricky Mandle, describes his experience with us this way. “As we were looking for an e-commerce fulfillment partner for our product launch in the U.S. we had considered quite a few options, and ultimately we were very impressed by the professionalism we found at Mid-Hudson Workshop. We have been working with a co-packing center that only employs disabled workers for the past few years in Barcelona, and being able to support an organization like that is intrinsic to the core family values of our company. I didn’t expect to find something similar in the U.S., however at Mid-Hudson Workshop we found a company with whom we are proud to partner and are thrilled to be able to help contribute to their mission”.
The Delicious & Sons family of products come from Barcelona, Spain and are natural, organic and not genetically modified. Please visit their website at DeliciousandSons.com for more detailed information, to place orders and learn about the history of their company.
